Jan. 23: Scouts who are ready to join the troop cross over from Pack 30. This group of scouts includes male and female Cub Scouts who have earned the Webelos badge and some who have earned Arrow of Light honors.
Feb. 13: Sledding! Scouts who are waiting in line to go up Prospect Hill in Waltham have the opportunity to knock out some advancement requirements.
March 11: Meet with our Personal Fitness merit badge counselor to start on this Eagle-required badge.
March 13: Scouts working on the Art Badge will meet at the deCordova Museum, tour the outside sculptures and then take a five-mile hike around Sandy Pond.
March 20: At the request of the Watertown Food Pantry we are holding a second Scouting For Food event to collect needed items for the food pantry.
April 10: Troop 30 is camping at Nobscot Scouting Reservation. For those working on Tenderfoot requirements, scouts must present themselves to our scoutmaster with a pack, ready to hike in to our site.
May 15: Camping trip.
June 12: Camping trip.
June 24: Last meeting of the academic year.
July 25: Summer camping week at Yawgoog Scouting Reservation.
